Palm House

The girl child was appearing in the third and final performance of her school production of Annie this evening, so we all trekked along to cheer her on. I went straight from work and got there a bit early, so went for a blip-friendly wander in the Botanic Gardens to kill a few minutes.

The Gardens are always lovely. We used to live quite close to them so know them well. Normally the flower beds are a riot of colour, but they're obviously between blooms at the moment as there was barely a flower head in sight. Still, not the worst place in the world to wander around before watching the girl child strut her stuff...
