A Little Gem

DH is doing the task of sorting out his parents house. We've had an offer for it and he spent today just going through things that are worth keeping. This is one he is hoping to sell. It is in mint condition and such a find. It's been a day of mixed emotions. Finding old paperwork from 19th Century belonging to the family business. It's fascinating stuff.

His sister has now left and apparently it was very emotional for her. The house has been with the family for nearly 50 years so it's no surprise to feel like that. I was a blubbering mess when I left my last house although we'd only been there 8 years it was the fact that I brought my babies home from hospital for the first time that hit me!
