Giant Thistle

In the Culpeper Garden there are several of these huge Triffid like plants. Is it a giant thistle? No idea but am going to try find a gardener to ask.

Busy times this week with work, long periods of time hanging on the phone whilst a robot tells my call is important to him and then plays me some jolly music. The one at the HMRC actually hangs up on you with the words ' our advisors are all busy, please call back later'. And that after I had spent 7 minutes hanging on.
