Rain curtails play
It was a decidedly Scottish kind of rain today. Not really heavy enough to give you an absolute soaking, but not light enough to make walking bearable. There was one, very brief, respite as we headed north and west, where the Met office optimistically and incorrectly asserted there would be an abatement from late morning for the rest of the day, when we fitted in a short wander of a couple of miles. But other than that it was visiting a couple of shops, lunch at the Kishorn fish bar, and popping back into Skye to see if there was any sort of view at Elgol (answer above).
Tomorrow is supposed to be more settled, if overcast and dull, which fingers are firmly crossed for (settled, not overcast and dull) as it's the last day of the trip, and thoughts have inevitably moved to the return to real life, and just what we could do to make living in this bit of the world a permanent reality.
