Catullos Grotto

Great nights sleep..........lovely breakfast, a guided on foot tour around Sirmione this morning. Lunch in a tiny pizzeria in an off the beaten avenue. Washed down with local Aperul Spritzers......which were lovely.

This afternoon we walked up to Catullos Grotto, which is a massive excavated Roman Villa dating back thousands of years. We spent a fascinating couplof hours wandering around exploring all the archeology.

Must dash now, as running late for dinner. Having fun :-). Sorry there won't be much time for comments I don't think......
