Roti special

I went on a failed mission to find an Indian restaurant I'd read about. It was closed just for today, possibly due to the start of Ramadan. It's amazing how many times I seem to go to a restaurant or cafe on the one day it's closed. Anyway, I found a great chapati place instead.

In the afternoon I made the most of the rain by catching up with Game of Thrones. In the evening I went to a place specialising in a version of roti canai which they call roti banjir (as I discovered back in January when learning about nasi kandar, banjir means "flood" and refers to the amount of sauce on the plate). The dish is a small plate with a chopped up roti, curry sauce, two half-cooked eggs and some kind of chutney. Amazing, especially for only 50p. This is their pile of rotis, always fresh as there are so many customers, they're constantly making more (which you can see in the background).

I took a train to KL Sentral to look around and accidentally found myself at a cinema (again) and bought a last minute ticket to see Minions, which was fun!
