Mini Snail

I have spent a bit of time today trying to figure out this new camera. Can't say I have taken any very magnificent shots yet. Most have been of the other side of the kitchen.

When I went to pick some parsley for dinner I found this tiny snail, probably about 1/4 the size of a normal one. So I put it on my saucer and experimented while the dinner got cold.

It doesn't do a bad close up just on normal settings. Maybe I won't have an excuse to buy a macro lens after all :-(
