Inner workings of Elevador de Santa Justa, Lisbon

Having spent a fruitless half hour melting in a midday queue to travel up the Elevador de Santa Justa in Lisbon yesterday, went for the cannier option first thing this morning. Walked up to Carmo Square and out along the walkway to the uppermost elevator platform, which was all but deserted - success! Grabbed this blip of the lift's inner workings while it was coming up from the streets of Baixa.
