New Experience
I hardly saw HER today - she was busy with Aunty Jane ( who is my friend too), and I was playing with Little 'Ern. We didn't stop all day.
So when Ern went home I crashed - she wasn't watching me and I tottered up stairs and could barely climb on the bed.
And what do you know! She missed me, within a nano second of me getting settled. And she wasn't best pleased because she had to resort to taking this picture with her phone.
HE has gone off with the big flash unit AND the camera with the pop-up flash, and she is bereft. Bereft she is.
She's not too good with the phone camera, but SHE just had to make do. There was a lot of sighing going on.
Anyway she carried me back downstairs, on account of my legs wouldn't work on their own, and now I have crawled into my bed in the family room, where I propose to sleep the evening away.
In other news, I chased a possum last night, and it ran up the oak tree, and sat on its little backside calmly eating an acorn. Just like a squirrel, she said. They are my acorns, I said. But it didn't take any notice.
AND, she and Ollie saved next door's dog from certain death - AGAIN. It keeps getting out, and Ollie saw it on the main road and chased it back, and then she chased it back down into its own drive. And called next doors to come home from work and secure it. Not the dog's fault. It's bored and lonely.
SHE apologies for the picture quality.
