The big dipper
First stop of the spring term at the best ice-cream shop in Northern Michigan. Coincidentally it was memorial day - the day we do a lab about demography. So we incorporate paying our respects at the local cemetery in Petoskey with collecting data on demography. In other words how populations change over time.
After the lab we stopped into the Big Dipper for ice-cream. Pure Americana, like walking into the 50's. Old cars and coca-cola posters adorn the walls while dozens of ice cream flavors beckon from the freezers. I had to go classic with a vanilla milkshake - on the rocks. What a treat!
