So it begins

Ah the end of another week, albeit a short one -I like to ease myself back in slowly.

With nothing planned over the weekend I will probably end up watching a fair bit of Euro 2012. I actually quite like the tournament as a whole but despise the hype that usually surrounds the England team and the games they're in, before the ultimate outrage at being beaten by somebody better. Is it any surprise, given this arrogance and the egocentric nature of the media coverage, that other countries dislike us? If I'm tuning in to watch Italy v Croatia I don't care what Ashley Cole had for breakfast. Saying that I'll still be wanting England to do well...
