Gaunless Valley

A beautiful part of County Durham and home to two of the school's I was working in today. A nice afternoon! Also a good morning in another school and with a little office time squished in too. Got home just in time to get Grace to her Barclays Code Playground session in town. She was fab as usual and there were new kids there who she helped out which was lovely to see. The sessions are helping her socially.

Less happy news tonight, hearing that my aunt (Dad's sister) was taken to hospital overnight. She has stabilised now, but she's 90 years old and has a few health problems so we are all very worried for her. I will hopefully get to visit on Friday. It's four weeks to the day since I was in hospital with Dad, thinking that it was just another false alarm and that he would be up and about and back to having tea with friends and out dancing on the following evening. Seems unreal that it's almost a month ago. Finding it hard to sleep, reliving those hours four weeks ago over and over again.
