A Village Lunch

Today a special curry lunch was held in the village hall, in aid of the Gurkha's work to assist those affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal.
We had rice, dahl,  and a vegetable curry, with several delicious home made chutneys, followed by a selection of home made cakes.
The organisers did so well providing this food for so many - at least 100 people - without tickets. Donations were given, generously, I am sure. The final total is not yet known, but will put it on my journal when I find out!
Well done to everyone who helped with this event!
