The Clutha Mural

This morning as I went past the Clutha Bar the renowned graffiti artist Rogue One was working on the mural.

Work to restore the Clutha has been underway for months following the helicopter crash which left ten people dead on 29 November 2013.

The art project, which features images of Spike Milligan, Billy Connolly, Gerry Rafferty, Alex Harvey, Frank Zappa, Jimmy Reid, John Martyn, and Glenda Jackson, is being led by Glasgow-based gallery Art Pistol.

After speaking to Rogue One about the project, I waited for somebody to go past the mural. My patience was finally rewarded when this couple stopped to look at the images of Rupert Everett and David Hayman.
