Thistle bee the one
A bright muggy morning gave way to a grey afternoon and a damp evening. The hedgerows of Norfolk are enjoying a growth spurt, brought on by episodes of sun and rain, the thistles stand two foot tall, from apparently nothing last week.
Of course, the verges have been cut almost to ground level, just last week, but new cow parsley is already a foot out of the ground, unfurling it's alien flower shoots.
The bees love it.
