Irmaltrout and the wide angle corner

Thank you Osusanna and Hobbs.  And thank you friends for your kind words and thoughts.  This virus really took me out yesterday and I am  barely functioning today- so this is the corner on my porch.  
But you must meet Irmaltrout.  She is the stump that the plant is sitting on.  I met her the day I met my husband.  She was a fixture in his dorm room and has lived with us ever since.  She has been a footstool, a coffee table, a television stand, a dance platform, a puppet stage,  and now sits proudly on our porch displaying the jade plant which I believe is only a few years younger than Irmaltrout.
