Jubilee lounging

Happily the long jubilee weekend meant our guests could stay for a four day weekend. With our kids back at school today, the rest of us headed into town to wander around (and in my case to search for the one pharmacy open on a Monday for asthma medicine). We found a new route to the river making for a circular river walk which is always so much more satisfying than an out-and-back walk. Then some shopping and home for lunch and, as you can see, some lazing about.

Later, nighttime terrace drinks were called short and brought inside (for fear of being shouted at again) where the smart money would have been on a slightly tired already SooB going to bed first. Instead of staying up until 4am and then suddenly imagining that loading the dishwasher and tidying up were the most important things to be done... despite having to get the kids up for school after a mere three hours...
