Falling petals
Along the side of the path we call 'The Road to the Sea', I once planted a couple of Peltoboykinia watanabei, a lovely Japanese hardy perennial with unusual palmate foliage; this has now spread around quite a bit, sowing itself mostly in the gravel beside the stone edge. Every so often I dig them up and replant them in the bed where the petals of Clematis montana 'Elizabeth' (I think) drop on to them.
A nice combination, I think.
