Bath Time

Lola has been nicknamed 'Sweaty Betty' recently because she has been a bit smelly so today was the day to freshen up again.

She's never been mad keen on a bath, and usually she trembles, her curly tail goes straight and tries to scramble up and over the sides of the bath to get out, today she seemed much better, her tail stayed curly and there was no trembling or trying to escape, I think she trusts us now.

Afterwards she's hilarious to watch, and dashes all over the place rubbing her body on anything that she thinks will take the 'clean smell' away.

I am driving myself around the bend looking for holiday accommodation that accepts dogs, and is near things to do for the teens of the house and within reasonable distance of Blaine's girlfriend.

I was really taken aback today when Blaine returned to the house after being in town, and presented me with a box of fudge chocolate (I love Fudge). He said it was because of this and that and rattled off a few things, I didn't hear half of them because I was so surprised at his thoughtful gesture, and I will never forget it.
