Dog Days

Yesterday's dreadful weather meant that we opted out of attending the open air performance of Macbeth The Scottish Play which we'd planned to go to last night. Instead we huddled round the wood burner and marvelled at the fact that the calendar insists it's June... Could it perhaps be a misprint?

At least the weather perked up a bit today and we headed for the beach at Roanhead for a walk with Mel's lovely dog Kaya before I trundled home to Merseyside.

Good times!
