Poplar Hawk Moth

I was undertaking preparation work on the motorhome for our trip to France on Thursday and this little fella attached itself to my fingers. It was quite a surprise as its "grip" was fairly tight. Popped it on some vegetation where it stayed for sometime allowing me to take some photographs. I haven't seen one of these before.
