Hepworth...

We visited The Hepworth Wakefield Gallery on this Monday Bank Holiday for the Jubilee, Miss R did some of her own art work, screen printing Mum and I were itching to have a go, but it was for kids only!!!!

Working models made by Barbara Hepworth as prototypes for her bronze sculptures, mostly on the same scale as the finished works. The one in the background is the aluminium model for her sculpture Winged Figure (1961-63), which is placed on the side of the John Lewis headquarters on Oxford Street London.

Fun day had by all on a lovely but chilly day in Yorkshire.
