A Very Special Birthday Indeed

Thanks to MidgeholeDave and BeeziePet who treated me to dinner (fish & chips) at the Staff of Life Pub in Todmorden tonight.  In fact they made the whole day special in many ways, not the least of which was a walking tour of Hebden Bridge, a visit to Shibden Hall which was originally built in 1420 and has been extensively improved and restored and perhaps best of all, I now have a college level education on the history, construction and varieties of stone walls.  They were ably assisted by Polly Dog seen here standing behind Dave on one of the stone wall displays in Shibden Park. I took 277 pictures today, all of which will bring back wonderful memories (if I ever get them sorted out!).
