Dead Bug

It helps a good deal to have the insect you are attempting to get veeerrrrrry close to be dead to start with. I did not kill this creature, I hasten to assure you. It just fetched up dead on a windowsill inside our house. I am sad to see I am still not very good at focussing manually - clearly I need a wildly expensive macro lens. HA! Nevertheless, here's my first stab at the Tiny Tuesday challenge.

I have no idea what kind of an insect this is. Some kind of a fly, is my guess. But that's as far as I've gotten with the ID portion of the program.
