Silk Floss Tree

Nothing special today, but I went for my early morning walk. I have already blipped a silk floss flower on March, 26th, and the respective fruit on May, 29th. Now the cycle is complete: under the persistent autumn sunlight (few or no clouds), the fruits crack and show this material, somewhat close to silk or cotton. Birds like to catch it and use to build their nests, warming the hatchlings. Nature is amazing...
