Warm Wind

The waves were great tonight; not huge, but noisy and lots of them. Sat for ages just listening and watching. Very relaxing and a welcome distraction to the thoughts going on in my head.


Sports Day went ahead, a good afternoon had by everybody despite the wind and temperature. Just minutes before we finished the rain came. Perfect timing.
That was the last one, and the last time being in the local primary school . Feel quite sad about that as it was also my primary school.

Went for a coffee after work , and it suddenly dawned on me that it will probably be the last time I will be able to do that on a Friday as my next job won't involve 4pm finishes any day. I have come to realise my next job wherever it may be will involve 8am-6pm shifts. I have been privileged in this job.

I feel quite emotional tonight, it's all just getting too close and too real for my liking. 3 weeks to go.
