A rainbow would be nice!

Iris is the Greek goddess of the rainbow, but sadly there hasn't been any of the requisite sunshine for the rainbow, just the rain. The weather has wrought its worst on the garden flowers which should have been at their best just now. Anything still standing when I took this picture earlier today in a brief hiatus, has now been battered into submission by the wind and rain.

Postscript: just notice my last year's blip - huge coincidence!
