More river walks

Over to North Devon today. Parked up at Combe Park and walked through to Lynmouth via Watersmeet. Lots more woodland and river views with the odd waterfall thrown in for good measure. Glorious was and understatement. Had a picnic lunch and ice cream in Lynmouth. The bird of the day today was the tiny wren of which I spotted three playing chase tag around one of the trees along the woodland walk.

We drove home via Don's cousin and wife who have recently moved into the area. They are in a lovely spot and it was great to sit out in their garden with a backdrop to die for. (Many thanks for feeding us as well!)
