Aussie Challenge

SHH's cousin from Oz is here!  Sue has been in Europe on a bit of an extended holiday visiting all sorts of places and people and luckily she has managed to fit in a visit to Birmingham to see us and Rob's brother this time.  We have had a lovely day around Birmingham stopping off at a couple of hostelries and seeing a few sights including the canals, the views in  and from the new library and round the Jewellery Quarter followed by Chinese Takeaway this evening.

Sue goes back to Sydney next week but we hope it won't be long before we see her again.  Rob and she had not met for 25 years until a couple of years ago but since her daughter had been working in London, we've managed to meet up a couple of times a year.

She was really concentrating on getting a good shot of some red hot pokers growing in the garden on the roof of the new library in this shot!
