Wedding Favour

This beautiful thing was given to us at the weekend as our wedding favour.

I've never come across one before and was instantly captivated by it. Attached to the ball was a little note which says:

'Friendship Balls: Traditionally these colourful balls were made by old world glass blowers at the end of their shift. These art pieces were given to friends and family to hang in windows as a token of friendship and good luck.'

I think it will look particularly lovely as a Christmas tree decoration :)
