Baaarceloooona!

We arrived home safely at 1.30am after a full day of travelling. Our flight left Cairo late, meaning what we thought would be a tight turnaround in Rome, but the flight left late from there too. If only we'd known that, we wouldn't have had to rush through the airport. Our bags arrived home too - bonus! We had a quietish first day, just going out for a walk round our block for a menu del dia at lunchtime and then a copa with friend Nerea at night. It's always strange to be back here after Cairo - two such different worlds and yet both part of our lives. Summer's arrived here since I left and I'm again surprised to see bare shoulders, midriffs and bare legs after Cairo!

This poster caught my eye and I'm blipping it to remind myself we must get along this summer to one of these musical nights on the rooftop of La Pedrera.
