Undergoing Renovation

This beautiful cottage was being renovated at Howmore, South Uist. There were a number of thatched cottages and remains of Medieval in the village and a church which is one of only two in Scotland that has a central communion pew (extra photo). 

Off to Lochmaddy in North Uist to catch the ferry to the Isle of Skye then a drive though heavy rain to the B&B on the mainland. On the way I saw a young golden eagle on a rock calling. After a moment, another eagle joined it and they flew off together. I would assume that it was a youngster.
