Damaged but Carrying on!

This butterfly was missing half of one wing and had a tear in the other wing; but he was happily flying from one flower to another. I liked this photo because it shows his proboscis or long flexible straw for sucking in the nectar. I was glad he appreciated this butterfly bush I had planted just for him. This is a nice bush; it stays right were I put it without reseeding many more plants. :-)))

Hubby went to the beach and I had a wonderful meet with two friends for care and conversation this afternoon. We are reading a book together and discussing it; but mainly we simply love and care for each other. This small group has been an amazing blessing for me. We meet at Starbucks, so there is a nice sip of tea too.

Too hot for me today; 90 degrees. I am grateful for home air conditioning as I work in my office. Thanks again for your visits and comments as I continue to neglect you by not commenting or replying.
