Busy day - a morning in Livingston packing bags at a large branch of a well-known supermarket to raise funds for my eldest's dance school, an afternoon out at Hillend for a tubing party and then down to Northumberland to meet up with my folks who are on holiday at Seahouses.

On arrival we managed about twenty minutes on a freezing Bamburgh beach (castle just out of shot here) before retiring to one of the village's pubs for tea. And I can happily report that the famous Bamburgh Bangers were well up to scratch.
