Spider Hatchery

Luckily we didn't decide to sit out for lunch today as we would have disturbed this mass of baby spiders. Fascinating to watch them. At one point they were in a ball and then scattered over the web they were attached to. Hopefully they will not be spotted by a passing bird looking for dinner.
