Liverpool eye overseeing the race start for the Rock N Roll Marathon and Half Marathon

Superb atmosphere in Albert Docks when we were waiting to go. Loads of cheering , loads of energy , loads of positivity .

The course was perfect , hardly a hill in sight ( Interestingly enough some people have moaned that it was hilly ; these people are obviously not from Yorkshire, we know what hills are and there was nothing more than a gentle slope ) . The weather was perfect ; cool with some light rain .

Music at various stages on the way round and loads of people in ridiculous fancy dress .

Great camaraderie all the way round .

All topped off with the best medal ever

Oh and I got a PB aswell . Perfect

Did I mention the medal was amazing ?

That medal may well be blipped tomorrow ...
