Sunny Akureyri - finally!

It's now June 15th and at last it feels like summer here in the northern part of Iceland.  It was 15°C in the afternoon when I sat by the swimmingpool and worked hard at saving up some vitamin D.

Picture taken on my way home from work, a mother with her daughter on a tandem-bike in the background.  The tulips are in bloom - how many weeks since tulips were blooming where you live?  Well, tulips and daffodils are having their moment now and decorating our town with colour :)
