Oh!

I know - its a bit of an odd blip - but I like it! I had decided to blip it when I came across Freespiral's foxglove blip - it was like the washing line blip a while back, I didn't blip mine then  in consequence as hers was so much better! I think the same is true today but I have nothing else except Agapanthus buds beginning to unfurl, and I like them but this has more Zing!!!!
Not much time for photographing today as I had to clean the house!! The Impinside is staying in a holiday cottage in the village so I will have a blipmeet! I couldn't have her seeing my very messy house so have paced myself and given it a clean. This involved stripping and hoovering my bed as I am getting quite paranoid about the bites I am getting and imagine goodness knows what sleeping with me - or rather feeding on me as I sleep! I reckon Portly Lucy has picked up and passed fleas onto me and then FatCat - and they are having me as a night time treat! I have seen no signs of fleas on either animal so I'm probably wrong and its the red mites!! Have inspected and mite powdered Milly and Tilly's coop just in case - no sign of any mites there either!
So - I have hoovered from the attic to the conservatory and steam cleaned as well! It says something about ones age when I became excited over buying one and my friends expressed envy that I had one! Oh how the middle aged live! Oh my! That's the very first time I have written that about myself - "middle aged!" Funnily enough chatted to my aunt in Canada just before I blipped, she could not believe I was 52, and said she thought I was older!!! She then went on to speak about a woman who used to live next to them - asking if I remembered - since she was talking about when she lived with her parents and my mum, I obviously didn't and none too politely told her as she kept insisting that of course I remembered - I had not even been born!!!! Anyway - the point was this woman kept bantams and was quite strange, lived by herself. My aunt had been reminded of her as she could hear my bantams clucking!!! Hmmmm! My aunt and I are very similar in character and we both make each other laugh - thank goodness!!!
Well that was quite a ramble! Plus I have not finished yet!!! Many times friends speak of their mothers and things they have did when younger, and I realise I can no longer ask my mum about her youth. I know  a lot but sometimes a question will occur to me - strangely I never think to ask my aunt - I will in future!
So now I have finished! No afternoon nap today - and energy obviously to clean - fuelled perhaps by one too many george Clooney's!!! ( can you tell?!!) So the post shingles "whatever" seems to have died down again - and I intend having an  early night to make sure it doesn't reassert itself and ruin the blipmeet sometime this week! And yes, I will be giving some eggs when we meet!!!!
