Medieval weaving.
There was something to do with the Magna Carta in the market square today. This lady was weaving lengths of wool, to make belts,bags etc using a very complicated system of thin squares of wood with a hole on each corner. Lengths of wool were threaded through the holes in such a way that when she rotated all the wooden squares she created a different part of the pattern after the bobbin had been passed through. It was almost a three dimensional loom....fascinating to watch
