Bird Song

I've been more conscious of bird song today than I've been for a long time, but perhaps that's because I've spent more time outdoors and it's been bliss. We've not done anything special other than stroll through fields and woods, but the fragrances, the sounds and the wildlife we've been lucky enough to see has been amazing.  We didn't stop for lunch, so by the time we arrived back home we were tired and hungry  - but happy too.

As I said, it's been a long time since we did something simple and spontaneous  -  I think we'll have to do it again soon. :-))
