Entrance to Croft Castle

A lovely day out courtesy of the National Trust! Croft Castle is a wonderful manor house full of interesting things - and you feel that people really live(d) there rather than it being a fusty museum. We had a sunny walk in the gardens, which were full of colour - and the extra is a bunch of poppies grown from seeds collected from the battlefields of the Western Front.
