Lying low in lavender

A day of housekeeping, for my youngest son.
Usual chores, tidying, washing, cleaning, sorting, cooking and gardening. To be fair, he insists I do nothing..........
Consequently I'm cream crackered, plus, I missed the turnoff on the way back from the supermarket and added another 10 miles to my journey! I stopped by the Cathedral for a quick blip only to find that they are having extensive digger work done in front of the building so I lay down behind the lavender to avoid the orange cones, yellow diggers and men in high viz tops!
