Changes

So we went to see Cathy, the breeder today to see the golden retriever puppies and specifically the female that we were going to adopt..... and .....................  ..............................................................................................................
changed our mind and decided on a male collie instead. 

Cathy has been breeding Goldens for over 25 years, but has just started breeding collies. We have both been a little apprehensive in adopting a another retriever after Dylan, and now Epi seeming to have a similar skin problem. We didn't want a dog that would remind us too much of our beautiful boy, and unfortuntely retrievers do seem to be having more and more health problems.

And adorable as the retrievers were, we both found the collies even more so. There was one male left to be adopted, and after much consideration, we made our decision, whcih we are sure is the right one. And we know it will be easy for Cathy to find another home for the golden.

Pic then, is our new boy who we will go to collect in a little under 3 weeks. Extras are the adorable parents, Edwin and Flounce, and some more pups.
