Half way through

I'm half way through the marking that I've been trying to motivate myself to do.
I'll have to get it finished tomorrow.
A very pleasant 20 miles on the bike today with a couple of friends that took us through a village with lots of scarecrows on display. I thought of Happyjacqui preparing for glory as we rode through.
And this afternoon I've seen a request to take my Olympic Torch on tour for people to see it.

The Parish council had seen sense and provided a venue so people in our village can see the torch and have their photo taken with it. Their initial reaction was there wad no interest! In other words, it's not coming to us so we (the parish council) aren't interested! They have now seen the error of their comment and sorted it.
