Missing The Sunrise

I missed the sunrise as I had to collect my daughter and bring her to the airport for 5am. Did, however, get back to the beach in time for this gentle light.

A chance visit to the mill pond produced a very outgoing grey heron who was not afraid to pose for photos and moved around like a model believing he had no bad side.....just saying
