Swampy

A cool but bright and sunny Summer day in Sanday. 

Walked up onto the dunes while I was at the top of the garden checking for post. A decision which picture to post from an embarrassment of riches.

We often get marsh orchids at the back of the house, toward the loch. This handsome fellow, however, was standing proud on the dune, in amongst the daisies and birds-foot trefoil. 

I also tried to photograph a bee, but it moved, made me jump and generally blurred the whole gig. Inconsiderate, furry git. I wish I wasn't such a big girl's blouse!
