Early-bird Solstice Musings

With the dawn-breaking, an avian chorus.
First the robins start,l but maybe sooner:
Chirping sparrows break the nighttime silence
a note ahead of the those early-bird robins.

What messages are they sending:

Happiness?
Hunger?
Wonder?

I lay listening to those perky sentinels of
the coming light. What is in those
small bird hearts and can it flow into mine?

So, I wrote a poem I would like to share. ;=]

Finally I went to a near-by drainage pond and captured
some photos of life around it.  There are two kinds of
lilies, both in full bloom {Yellow and white.  This little bit of
nature has been discovered and is there now for my exploration.
I saw a deer, egret and twenty six Canada geese.
I had some sublime moments before my camera
battery went dead......Life is a learning experience!
