Still life by Louise Wallis

This is a water colour painted by my Grandma. Funnily enough my cousin is a member of the RA, but this wasn't our mutual Grandma.
The thing I remember most about her is her telling me that when the Penny Farthing Bicycle was invented, all the old ladies thought it would be the end of the world. She was a child at the time. She took on 5 stepchildren when she married my Granddad and then had 2 of her own.
