woodpecker...power was out for a while today on the farm. Yesterday evening when we were sitting around the camp fire we saw a big black bear cross our farm between our barn and field. No camera near buy. We also watched a large owl snatch bats out of the air and feast on them beside the barn, no camera. Today sitting in the rockers having morning coffee we saw a Scarlet Tanager. All first for me. What a first few days!
