Young Mr S hits a new decade in about 10 minutes. But he's reaching it well fortified, beer and cake are always a pretty good combo. Don't think Mary Berry would have been too impressed with the finishing but I think it tasted fine. Of course, I'm biased!
The recipe blurb says the cake will improve if left for 2 or 3 days. We'll never know.
